Awesome April for Mazda Dealer in Sydney

2008 has seen Mazda Australia’s biggest ever April, with 6,749 sales, up 18% since April 2007. Australia’s top-selling full-line importer has sold 28,439 new cars for far in 2008. That’s 10 percent (or 2,604) ahead of the same period last year.

Mazda Australia has maintained its record-breaking momentum in April, notching 6,749 sales for an 8 percent market share. The great value Mazda3 Sport range has delivered the best April ever for Mazda3.

April 2008 is the 16th consecutive month of record sales for Mazda Australia.

To put Mazda’s incredible sales growth over the last eight years into perspective, the brand has already outstripped the 27,505 new vehicles it sold in an entire year in 2000.

Consistent sales across Mazda’s core passenger car range - the Mazda2, Mazda3 and Mazda6 - helped the company achieve its best ever April, 1,046 up on the same month in 2007.

Mazda Australia managing director Doug Dickson said: “This impressive April result is proof that Mazda’s broad vehicle range has strong appeal with Australian consumers.

“Based on these figures, Mazda Australia is on track to achieve its 2008 sales target of 80,000 vehicles.”

Mazda is fast establishing its place as a favourite brand for Australian consumers. It’s no wonder, with such a broad range of appealing and practical vehicles.
