Artarmon Mazda Service Manager, Padraig Campbell, invites Sydney Mazda drivers to pop into Eurocars Artarmon service centre and showroom at 339 Pacific Highway for a quick 30-minute vehicle check prior to hitting the road this holiday season.
Padraig says Mazda owners whose vehicles are not due for a full service should take advantage of the cost-effective 30-minute check to ensure peace of mind while driving over the holidays.
“It’s important to cover the basics before a road trip, such as checking tyre pressure, oil levels and the coolant to prevent break-downs over the holiday period,” Padraig said.
“A lot of people can accidentally overfill their oil and coolant tanks if they conduct these basic checks themselves, and this can cause as many problems as underfilling,” he said.
Padraig said Mazda drivers who regularly put engine cleaners or octane boosters in their petrol tanks prior to long trips might consider using premium unleaded fuel instead, which has a higher octane rating and will help the car achieve an extra 25-30km per tank.
